Deep Dish Dungeon Cooking Pot: How to Light It and Cook

At a glance

Aim below the Cooking Pot at its Campfire and use Burn Wood with a Stick. One Stick can start the fire; the 0/5 indicator is fuel capacity, not a requirement to add five before cooking.

Light the fire beneath the pot

Bring a Stick and move your aim down from the pot to the Campfire underneath. Use the Burn Wood interaction shown on your screen. On the default keyboard prompt in the example, this is E.

The fuel counter moves from 0/5 to 1/5 when you add one Stick and the fire lights. You can start cooking a matching recipe without filling all five fuel spaces.

Cook Fruit Compote

  1. Interact with the pot itself.
  2. Put 3 Apples into its three MAIN ingredient slots, one Apple per slot.
  3. Light the Campfire beneath it.
  4. Check the pot for Fruit Compote, a COOKING label and a percentage that increases.
  5. When it finishes, open the pot and move the finished dish from the output slot into your inventory.

The fire and the pot have separate interactions. If you keep opening the ingredient menu, lower your aim to reach the fire.

Pot recipe and other meals

Crafting a Cooking Pot takes 1 Iron Pot + 3 Iron Rod. Its ingredient slots accept one item each; valid combinations use two or three ingredients and produce one dish per batch.

After collecting the food, check your bag for the dish before closing the menu.
